Pump cylinders: The treadle pumps has two cylinders each with a cylinder bore of 121mm each; cylinder height is 160mm and is made of rolled steel sheet
Pump Manifold: (or junction box):The pump manifolds is constructed from a 2.5mm steel sheet fabricated into a box form
Non-return Valves:The pumps has two pairs of non-return valves, one on the inlet side of the pump and another on the outlet. The valve type is flapper type, made of Ø66mm X 2.8mm thick circular rubber.
Piston Assembly: The piston assembly constitutes the piston rod made of 25mm x 6mm and 5.5mm thick rubber seals (cups) .
Treadles:The treadles are made of box section steel materials of 800mm length, cranked shaped with the hinge position at the end.
Rocking Bar or Pulley Wheel:The pump has a rocking steel bar made of 20mm x 5mm flat steel bars
Frame:The frame ensures that the pump is portable and supports all other components of the pump. It is made of 50mm x 25mm- box section steel material.
| OPERATION |
- The pump can draw water from 7m (23 feet deep) and push to 7m high or 180m on flat ground.
- The pump is treadle driven, 100% manual.
- The pump is maintenance free and can be used in a multiple of places because its light, 25kg and is mobile i.e. doesn’t need installation.
- The replaceable piston rubber cups are supplied and can easily be fitted by any user.
- All pumps come with a detailed user manual and thus no need for user training (the operation is easy & straight forward).
